Akva Sense® is a multisensory waterbed which combines haptic and auditory sensations to create an experience of deep relaxation. The sensory bed utilizes the soothing qualities of water and thereby creates a responsive and embracing environment.
The sensations of comfort and warmth can be supplemented by music from the integrated sound system.
The secret behind Akva Sound® is the utilisation of water’s excellent ability to transmit sound. While the user is relaxing in the bed, the sound waves are transformed into stimulating water vibrations. This intensifies the present moment and increases the
bodily consciousness.

Akva Sense waterbeds are used in Snoezelen environments, senior and disabled facilities as well as in wellness and therapy facilities ro in the private sector.

We can equip our multisensory beds with sound systems and massage functions. This gives you many options for using the bed in a therapy unit.

Made for the toughest demands. We only use phthalate-free laminated premium vinyl for our watermattresses and safety liners for maximum environmental friendliness and duarable comfort.

Water conducts sound 25 times more effectively than air, which is why whales can communicate over distances of more than 50 km. With Akva Sound® a technology is introduced transforming frequencies of sound to movements in the water. It combines vibrations with audible sounds and creates an integrated sensory experience.

Whether used for relaxation or targeted therapy, the intensity of the sound transmission and the frequency spectrum can be regulated independently of the sound source and the loudspeakers of the room with an easy-to-use control unit.

The sound transducers are mounted in the base plates allowing them to transmit vibrations directly to the water.
