SWT at Expo Energética 2026: Turning Market Insights into Local Power Solutions
A useful trade show is not only about displaying products. It is also an opportunity to understand how customers actually plan to use them.
At Expo Energética 2026 in Peru, SWT met with local industrial, construction, and energy-sector customers to discuss backup power, jobsite lighting, equipment maintenance, and project-specific requirements.
On the first day of the exhibition, both of our display units found their applications locally: a 60 kVA diesel genset was purchased by a factory owner operating in Peru, while the 4VTL1600 mobile lighting tower was ordered by a local construction company.
The 60 kVA genset is designed for industrial backup and independent power applications, while the 4VTL1600, equipped with four 400 W LED lights and an 8 m mast, is suited to construction, mining, roadwork and other outdoor operations.
More important than the two orders was the market feedback behind them. Customers were particularly focused on reliability under real operating conditions, ease of maintenance, local power requirements and after-sales support.
These conversations give us a clearer understanding of what users in Peru and the wider Latin American market actually need from power and lighting equipment.
