Antoine Maple Syrup

What an amazing Maple.Week(end .)
We started.a boil on Thurs and finished on Fri night just in time to catch up to restart tomorrow. The final boil is in site as we watch the weather. Only down to switch to clean pans. We have had some great visitors, with one we swapped stories on how the Antoine family started in this bush in 1954 and his family stories on how they harvest rubber sap!

We outgrew our cabin and with Olivet Church members help, we now offer pancakes sausages with our syrup, baked beans, johnny cake and biscuits, both with mom's receipe, homemade jam and fresh fruit. This is our thank you so there is no charge. If you want to make a donation to the church "Ruth's Donut Jar" will be on the table
Ruth (mom)'s jar came to the sugar bush on a regular bases and if we dropped it off back home it always returned full.

Opeming up the roads through the bush and running new water lines. Syrup season is coming fast
We will be at Frostfest on Feb 7th at the Fire Hall Seeleys Bay on Feb 7th craft sale and Silent auction. We will have a good variety of syrup flavors and sizes , maple cream, Maple Sugar, Maple Popcorn and maple turtles so stop on for a visit or taste test or bid on our basket in the Silent Auction!
