Feel like having a little walk down nostalgia lane? Imagine if you will, that it's April of 1949 and you are with your parents walking down Portage Ave in Winnipeg. It's quite possible that your mom is guiding you by the hand to Eatons, with these very flyers in her purse, to shop for the household. I remember going there, and The Bay, to look at toys and books. As it so happens, this was the very year that this particular department store officially changed their name to The T Eaton Company Limited. Doesn't looking at those prices get you depressed..... especially considering how much better things were made back then? This was an amazing find
