This felt impossible to me for a very long time… and honestly, it kind of still does.
Every Saturday morning through my 20s, 30s and 40s, I had a ritual: a fresh pot of coffee, my and a quiet moment on the sofa dog-earing pages filled with interiors I admired. Sometimes I’d even tear out pages and tuck them into a little pink briefcase full of ideas for my future home.
Now, at 50yrs old, after slowly and quietly building my own upholstery & home accessories business, it feels surreal to flip through the June issue of H&H and see my own business in its pages - something I truly never imagined possible, especially as someone who’s mostly self-taught!
And having my work connected to the village of Knowlton Quebec in a Canadian design magazine makes it feel even more special.
A true full-circle moment. 💕 *
