We are excited to announce that our 2026 Kaats’ii Hla | Káats’a Hla | This Is Haida Gwaii is published! This new issue features nine stories, stunning photography, and important messaging. It is a must-have for trip planning and travelling to Haida Gwaii.
The name of this publication is followed by the phrase Kaats’ii Hla or Káats’a Hla. This phrase is a response to a knock on the door: “Come in!” It is used to acknowledge a guest’s presence and welcome them into the house. That is what this publication is: to acknowledge and welcome you as a guest to respectfully experience Haida Gwaii’s Air, Ocean, Land and People.
