"Re-purposing old things into new" I originally gravitated working with old windows and cupboard doors, but I am always looking for new items to up cycle!

It was a productive weekend ! I have the last flock of geese heading to the trainyard , and some top up items to Kismet .
Painted a coat rack for a teacher friend, it was white ( boring ) so we gave it some colour !
Time to start thinking about … fall items !

Kismet in Fisherman’s cove has been restocked with its gaggle , wooden rose auctions had their gaggle arrive today, and tomorrow the trainyard will receive theirs !

Fresh 🪿for The Trainyard will be dropped off this week! Some lighthouses for Seahags and Skallywags are in the works- how do we feel about colours other then red … stick with traditional or have some fun with colour ?
Also have a gold magazine rack up for grabs $20 and some wood vintage wine racks that can be turned in to shelf’s - so many ideas for them, plants , books etc - $10 each .

I had a lady come into the shop the other day and ask, "What's with this trend of all the geese?"
You know what? I think the world is just a little too chaotic right now.
I think that in all this chaos, if we can all agree on one thing, it should be that geese are cute. That a little whimsy can bring some sparkle to an otherwise beige day.
So I say embrace it.
Whether it's brightly coloured home decor, fun clothing, a goofy little puffin, or the majestic bodess of a seagull, whatever gives you even a shred of joy, take it.
Because really, what else is there?
Complaining?
Yucking other people's yums?
Nah. Give me the whimsy!
