When your friend brings you new candles, you reset your candle plate 💖
Our house feels like it hasn’t been empty in months. No trades, no kids, no Mike in the office. Just Ralphie snoozing on the couch, and me romanticizing the dishes, by playing the Practical Magic soundtrack, candles lit and prepping snacks for the weekend.
Sometimes you need glorious, slow mornings to reset your mind 💗 especially after tracking the school bus and having a mad rush out the door once you realize it’s actually almost on time 🤣

A beautiful day for these kiddos, who raised over $744 for Stollery Kids Simply Supper 🥳
I wasn’t sure we were even going to participate this year but Ruby insisted and I’m so proud of this big team and all the work they did today!
HUGE thanks to everyone who popped by in-person and online to donate 🫶 WE 💜 YOU!! And I know the Stollery kiddos appreciate you too!

This was honestly my childhood. I made THOUSANDS of these puffy paper stars as a wee kiddo and I’m overjoyed that Ruby has taken to them too!
Many of you asked how to make them, so here is how we do it! You can cut paper strips but I find the origami paper works best, it’s just the perfect weight!
I used to fill jars 🫙 or string them as a kid. Ruby plans on giving these away at our Lemonade Stand Day on Sunday for the Stollery 💜 They are just so cute and the perfect analog craft. Mike says it’s the perfect fidget for us to keep our hands busy 😅

After my stories yesterday blabbing about what colours you envision when you think of months, so many of you suggested birth stones! Yall are brilliant and I had to test them all out with my Pixel Kings Lighting Solutions lights!!

Having permanent lights brings me SUCH joy!! And I’m more appreciative of them now as it’s getting darker earlier so I can enjoy them even more 💖
