Hello everyone!

My apologies for not posting here sooner. It has been four long months.

I am quickly approaching my 5th official year of business for Purdy & Associates Design
since retiring from Deslaurier Custom Cabinets which is at the end of May!

Some of you know that I have been battling a serious cancer diagnosis, and have been very focused on healing - Metastatic Ovarian, stage 4. I am told that my treatments and response to chemo is going very well 🙏🏼. Obviously, this has been very hard to navigate as a sole business owner. How quickly they forget!

I have been absolutely astounded with the level of support shown by some suppliers and community members, many friends and extended family. It has no doubt affected my ability to heal well during my treatments.❤️👌

I will be resuming work in late fall after my treatment plan is completed.

Here are some pics of my latest completed project.

Another project nears completion. This bathroom, despite being the smallest and most technical 3-piece bath I've worked on, will boast impressive style and ample storage, for completion just before Christmas.

Our Carp principal bathroom is inching towards completion. Countertop was installed today!
As with these precise projects, things can happen. Hopefully our other panel of glass can be installed before Christmas!
It came taller than it was ordered unfortunately. Also, waiting on a window! 🤞

It was nice to see some folks that I hadn't seen in a while, at Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce Christmas meet up Stalwart Brewing Co.

An Ottawa bedroom makeover is underway with a built-in closet and bed surround cabinetry.
A classic yellow, grey and off white scheme utilizing a selection of the client's original artwork, and some existing furnishings. The open shelving will provide a great space for her many photos, and collectibles.

Thrilled to be volunteering for the Carleton Place Christmas Basket Program again. Such an incredible team of individuals to work with and a truly noble cause! 🎄❤️🎅️❄️
You can recommend a family to receive a Basket until 6th Dec.

Our accessible Carp master ensuite is coming along!
This project will have some unconventional finishes to add to the drama.👌
