Over the past few months, I’ve been focused on building this custom white oak living room table set. From rough-sawn lumber to the final coat of OSMO, every step was completed by hand with the goal of creating furniture that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

The Live Edge Oak TV Stand — Complete.
Built with traditional mortise and tenon joinery, and brought to life with black epoxy accents that highlight the character in the wood. Finished with OSMO oil/wax for a natural, durable surface that lets the oak speak for itself.
Dremel time.
Cleaning out rotten pockets with this thing always feels like a strange career crossover—part woodworker, part dentist. Dig out the decay, fill the cavities with epoxy, and bring the piece back to life.
Fresh load in the kiln—Oak and Birch are in.
There’s something deeply satisfying about stacking a new batch and starting the slow process of turning green lumber into stable, usable stock.
Maple Waterfall Table | Oaktail Woodworks
Just wrapped up my second maple waterfall table — and this one turned out exactly how I envisioned it. The continuous grain flow over the edge is what makes this design stand out. Clean lines, solid joinery, and a form that lets the wood speak for itself.
Finished with Sansin Gel Stain in Brazil Sands to warm up the maple, then sealed with OSMO Clear Coat (Matte) for a natural, durable finish that keeps the surface looking like wood — not plastic.
