Today is a try out of making infused oil from lemon grass and lemon balm herbs I collected from my garden last year. Wish me luck.

Good day to everyone. I made some pumpkin treats for my pup today as she is so good being by my side in the garage watching me do projects. I have been busy making some items . These pieces of wood are from a dear friend . Playing around to see what I can create from scrape wood.

So I have been selling my Roma tomatoes and will be making spaghetti sauce with some. My luffas are drying right on the vine. This warm weather is fabulous for them. My grass iris leaves are put up to dry to weave into baskets in the winter.

Finally found some time to show you what I have been busy with. 18 quarts of canned peaces, canned coleslaw, 34 quarts of pickled beets which I forgot to take pics of.

Well August is here and my luffas are doing awesome. My kangaroo apple is taller than 8 feet. Now to see if those little tomatoes mature. My tomatoes are slow this year but are doing great. Our purple martens have a few nests of fledglings to fly and by mid August they will leave to start thier journey back to Brazil. Sure going to miss them.

Have you heard of kangaroo apple tomato plant? This was a mother’s day gift and looks promising in producing fruit. I am going to try and save seeds if they mature.

My luffas are doing great this year. They measure 24” and still growing.

Our recent project getting sidewalk and laying down filter cloth. Planted a few shade loving plants. Cedar mulch on top.

These are my luffas I have harvested today. Now to dry them. There were more there that were hiding in the leaves at the top.

I have been busy with my garden and greenhouse harvest making paprika from my peppers, sundried tomato’s, apple chips and with the apple scraps I am making apple cider vinegar.
