WHITE TREE

Wooden chest project : for a wedding, I made a wooden chest to open in several years by the newly weds. Guests have put thoughtful things inside and wine to age. I engraved the front of the chest with the names of the married ones and I drew the building where they got married, wich I then engraved on the chest.

Focus on a desk and vinyl storage that I made a few months ago. For the vinyl storage, I used birch plywood tainted with blue oil, the edges are covered with oak wood. For the desk, I used pine plywood tainted with white oil. The legs are colourful to contrast with the wood 🌈.

Upcycling project : I bought this table wich was fairly dated in its design. I ended up reworking its shape by making it shorter and less wide to fit in a modern living room. I used a whitening oil to counter the natural darkness of the wood.

Latest project : double bed made in oak with a touch of blue leather.

Improvised project to store vinyles. Had fun with the design and details. Made with burch plywood, then covered the edges with oak and finished it with blue oil.

Desk designed and made by us. We used pine plywood for the desktop and drawers, finished with a natural white oil. The legs are also made of wood and painted with a punchy color to contrast with the rest of the desk. Had a bit of fun integrating a wireless charger in the table. White tree is constantly striving to make sustainable furniture within a reasonable budget. But it is hard to make it entirely green. In this project, the wood is from Europe and the finish is natural. But sadly for the legs, only the first layer of paint is made with algae and the two others are regular paint, we didn’t find the color we wanted in natural paint.
