About the Role

Prominent Consultant is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Lead Counselor to join our Dhanmondi Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the counseling team while ensuring smooth application processing and visa documentation. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in international student admissions and visa processing.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional counseling to students regarding study abroad opportunities, country selection, university selection, and course selection.

Lead, mentor, and motivate the counseling team to achieve individual and organizational targets.

Monitor counselors' performance and ensure high-quality student service throughout the admission process.

Guide students through the complete admission journey, from initial consultation to visa approval.

Process student applications through agent portals and direct university portals.

Prepare, review, and verify application and visa documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with university and embassy requirements.

Coordinate with universities, partner institutions, embassies, and internal teams regarding application and visa progress.

Prepare and upload visa applications according to country-specific requirements and maintain submission deadlines.

Assist in preparing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), supporting documents, and other admission-related paperwork whenever required.

Maintain accurate digital and physical records of student files and provide regular updates on application and visa status.

Stay updated with international education policies, admission procedures, visa regulations, and immigration requirements.

Ensure smooth coordination between the counseling and file processing teams to deliver excellent service to students.

Requirements

Honors/Masters or BBA/MBA from a reputed university.

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in the education consultancy sector.

Strong knowledge of international admissions, application processing, and visa documentation.

Excellent understanding of study destinations, universities, admission procedures, and visa requirements.

Outstanding leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Bangla.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online application/agent portal systems will be an added advantage.
