On September 2, 2026, CARICAD commenced delivery of its 4th Cohort of its customised Emerging Leaders' Development Programme for the public service of the British Virgin Islands. The programme is being delivered virtually across 3 months to 25vemerging leaders from the BVI Social Security Board and Health Services Authority. Participants with the support of their Executive Coaches will implement personal development plan as well as execute an Improvement Project in their respective teams. This is part of the wider public sector reform and learning strategy

The 42nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) was held in Anguilla on July 10th, 2026.

Celebrating Leadership and Regional Partnership - CARICAD

The Government of Anguilla proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort 1 of the CARICAD/Government of Anguilla Leadership Development Programme, followed by a Welcome Reception for delegates attending the CARICAD Board Meeting.

The graduation ceremony highlighted the programme's impact on strengthening leadership across the Public Service, featuring an overview by Dr. Lois Parkes, Leadership Development and Institutional Strengthening Specialist at CARICAD, remarks from Mr. Devon Rowe, Executive Director of CARICAD, a participant presentation by Ms. Farrah Banks, the presentation of certificates, and an inspiring reflection on behalf of the graduates by Mr. Lonnie Hobson, Comptroller in the Department of Inland Revenue.

The evening continued with a Welcome Reception where Hon. Deputy Governor Perin Bradley, Acting Premier Hon. Shellya Rogers-Webster, and Her Excellency the Governor Julia Crouch, OBE welcomed CARICAD delegates to Anguilla, reaffirming the Government's commitment to leadership development, regional collaboration, and excellence in public service.

Congratulations to all graduates of Cohort 1, and a warm welcome to our regional partners as we continue working together to strengthen public administration across the Caribbean.
