Just a quick post to let you know that we have received a notice from one of our suppliers, mainly affecting steel, aluminium and screws/gate hardware etc, that there will be a price increase of up to 5% as of October. While we make every effort to keep our price as low as possible, we cant absorb prices on materials we have to purchase to complete work. Thanks for your understanding.

Also, we have made some changes to the structure of our business, and we wont be taking on any new clients for mowing and gardening, however we will keep mowing for our existing clients for now.

I covered up this, um, bright splashback. It's glass, so we scrubbed it with sugar soap to make sure it was squeaky clean and free of oil etc. Then it was coated with Dulux Precision max strength adhesion primer, then two coats of Dulux Aquanamel gloss in Vanilla Quake.

I painted these doors earlier in the week, I'm happy with the outcome. Done in classic cream, the same as other doors and windows in the room.

One feature wall gone. It has brightened the area up and made it look bigger.

One of This week's projects was to build a fence on top of what's left of an old brick fence.

MBK Handyman Service will be closed for a week from Sunday August 9th until Monday August 17th. I am having a week away, the first in about 3 years, to recharge my batteries.

The deck we did up and replaced some floor joists and all of the decking a month or so ago, has been left to weather, then cleaned to remove any tannin, the we applied 3 coats of Feast Watson wet look decking oil, lightly sanded between the second and 3rd coat.

I pressure washed and clear sealed a large area of exposed aggregate this week, it came up like new. You should reseal your exposed every two years to keep it clean and stop stones dislodging.

Transformed this little room, we painted the ceiling and walls, as well as the doors. It lifted the whole space. We used wash and wear low sheen Antique white USA on the walls and Dulux Aquanamel semi gloss in classic cream on the window frame. The door was done in classic cream gloss pressure pack as they are aluminium and had to be prepared accordingly.

Patched and sealed this driveway the last few days, with Dulux avista dark terracotta, now to clear seal a 200m2 exposed driveway.
