As the new year begins at MCG, sadness fills our hearts as we farewell our brother Matty Lavers. We were privileged to have Matty join our team, albeit briefly, and his presence was deeply felt by everyone he met. A true gentleman, master of his craft, and a great bloke, his loss is deeply felt. A shining star cut short, we thank you for being part of our team, Matty. Our deepest sympathies to Skye, may the knowledge that he was widely respected across Australia bring her some comfort. RIP brother Matt. Your legacy lives on, and your love will never fade. RIP BROTHER. XX

⚡ Electrician for Tower Crane Application.
Location: Melbourne, VIC Salary Package: $200K+ incl. overtime, company vehicle, and full EBA construction benefits.

MCG Cranes is looking to employ a skilled electrician with a solid grasp of Electric Motor Drive controls associated with Electric Tower Cranes.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electric motor drive systems across diverse construction projects.
Work on high-powered equipment including tower cranes (experience highly regarded).
Collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient electrical operations.
Interpret schematics, diagnose faults, and deliver high-quality solutions.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:
Licensed electrician with proven experience in motor drive controls.
Familiarity with tower crane systems is a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Strong safety mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.
