Our older homes in Melb offer such quality in their bones. It is a joy to style these treasures and with a few updates (resurfaced floors and a great paint colour), they quickly show just how gorgeous they truly are.
When I studied Design, one of my favourite learnings was about The Arts and Crafts Movement.
All these years later and my family (parents, sister, our husband’s, our kids) and a bunch of friends found ourselves at the 2026 Lost Trades Fair … it didn’t disappoint.
My personal highlight was the number of young trades people who are enjoying the passion of their unique craft. And the crafting of quality tools for craftsmen to use.
I hope we will be back next year and plan to extend the invitation further again.

It’s always enjoyable to see a space transform. To prepare this property for sale; carpet, a fresh coat of paint and staging were complete within the week. Just in time for photos tomorrow!

On a recent a trip to Heathcote VIC, I happily ran into a creative client and friend. Together we discovered The General Trader; full to the brim with inspiration and gorgeous dried floral arrangements, mixed with beautiful homewares. My creative spark was captured. Since then, I have been ‘having a go’, trying some dried arrangements at home. Meeting Jasmin at in Croydon added to the inspo and Winter joy.

I am loving the gentle autumnal rusts and tans when am styling these days. Styling is always a hectic and fast paced day. It’s not at all glamorous but by the end of the day, simple spaces have come together and there is joy in the process of creating!
