PLEASE READ - The Town Trader has finally closed. Our doors will be open Monday and Tuesday while we are packing up. Stock is very limited. We will be giving away a few items that I don't think the new tenants can sell. Please give us till 1pm before you call in and grab for free. Also I will be posting a few pics over the next few weeks from The Town Trader Archives, From the beginning till now. After 24 years, It amazes me how people tell me they remember coming in as kids and they have their own now. The Town Trader could not lasted for 24 years if not for the amazing long term employees, with the worst sense of humours possible. Plus my wife and children that made it work from the start. We have always recycled, employed Tasmanians and been a family business for 24 years. I am so proud that I decided when to stop when I needed to. We Also have a huge amount of furniture and collectables left. On Wednesday May 6th at 9.30am. We will open again for 2 weeks, before the new tenants take over the building. All garage sale items left will be for sale for half the price we had on them(Including all the retro gaming items) Most of the furniture is already half price.
