NSFP is proud to sponsor the Huon She Shed, a community-based, not-for-profit organisation creating a safe and welcoming space for women in the Huon Valley to connect, build skills, and grow in confidence through hands-on woodworking and creative projects.

Women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities come together to learn practical skills like woodworking and home repairs, helping to reduce social isolation and support mental wellbeing, especially in rural communities.

With plans to introduce hand carving next year, the She Shed continues to expand what’s possible for its members.

As the major supporter, NSFP is proud to help make it possible for the Huon She Shed to provide the timber, tools and space where women can play, practice and perfect their projects, while learning from skilled volunteers who generously share their time and knowledge.

Together, we’re growing a stronger Huon community.

Position Available: Dry Mill Manager

Neville Smith Forest Products (NSFP) is seeking a Dry Mill Manager to oversee daily operations at our high-output timber facility in Launceston.

This is a full-time leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong focus on performance, planning, people, and product quality. You'll be responsible for managing production, safety, quality, kiln and boiler operations, and developing a high-performing team — all while driving continuous improvement across the site.

If you're a hands-on, results-driven leader with experience in manufacturing or production, we'd love to hear from you.
