On Saturday, Katie and I hosted our ottoman build workshop and it was a really great day!
Katie took them through the woodworking side and it was great to see the enjoyment from women using tools and machines that they have never used before. And with little experience they all achieved so much and learnt a lot!
I even learnt some woodworking skills too!
They all loved learning upholstery too, and are already planning their next projects!

Katie from and I joined together a few months ago to do the first ottoman building workshop and it was a great success with everyone going home with a beautiful ottoman and smiles all around!
The ottoman has a beautiful design with mitred corners and upholstery details that add some class. Anyone that is a beginner in woodworking and upholstery is capable of this class. If you are happy to use a staple gun, please come and join us!
