We speak to each other in our Styling Community and even get to stop for a lunch catchup sometimes! So when my trip to Greece clashed with our client being ready to push the bottom on Styling their New Build Penthouse I called the wonderful Imogen from to step in and takeover. I met Alistair from 4+ years ago when he was onsite at the same time as we were installing a property. I call Alistair every 12 months to come and clean my windows and wow does he do an AMAZING job. I often say to clients having a sparkling clean home with no issues before hitting the market is more important than anything else you do 🏡

That’s a Monday Wrap! Yes it’s only just after lunch but we started at 6am! Didn’t realise how much we nailed this room until I saw this pic my wonderful stylist Jessica took from .abode.styling and our furniture and accessories fit so well with the colours of the walls and ceiling. Had the most wonderful chat with our clients mother who was there giving the home a last minute touch up paint before pictures on Wednesday. She’s told her daughter she’s not sleeping in her bed tonight because it’s perfectly made 🤗🛏️

Best Saturday Night Dinner with our Godchildren but everytime this rascal comes over she tries to steal 🐾 Walter.

We wish we could take the credit for styling this magnificent home that has just gone to market in Hawthorne, but we can’t. When my girlfriend called me and said she needed help getting her home on the market, my first comment was, “You don’t need me.” She insisted, so I can be humble and say that we added and chopped some cushions, filled up an empty room, and made some beds. 🤗 If I was 20 years younger, this would be my ultimate family home! As we bid farewell to the beautiful island of Skopelos after a 10-day stay, I want to share my favourite photo of these lovely Yiayies. They were simply sitting together at the end of the day, chatting and laughing. They were so happy to share their joy and community with me.
We all need a sense of community in our lives wherever we live, whether it’s the friendly barista who greets you every day as they make your coffee, the local gym, or the neighbours you greet as you walk your dog. These women have community in abundance!
Perhaps we should all make an effort to sit outside our homes more often and strike up a conversation with whoever walks by and invite them to sit for a chat.

We absolutely love our home away from home on the Greek island of Skopulos to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary 🇬🇷
The days are spent exploring yet another beach to have a swim, followed by visiting yet another restaurant recommended by our car hire company and then afternoons enjoying being in our own little paradise which is quintessentially Greek and exactly what we wanted!
Still getting used to toilet paper in the bin and not the toilet, driving on the opposite side of the rd changing gears with your Right hand and not having any clothes as they didn’t arrive with our flight 5 days ago!
But hey, we have our passports, each other, beautiful weather and lovely locals up for a chat before they all close their businesses in 2 weeks for winter.
1st time travelling in Europe in Sept and it’s perfect!
