I may not be pumping out the pieces as fast as I used to, but my furniture reviving days are far from over!
This bold beWhimsy piece literally begged me to use him. The details in these papers are amazing. So many fun designs I want to play with.
Teamed with my favourite Mint by Michelle paint- Roaring Twenties on the exterior. The pop of Roller skate Pink hiding inside and the hand painted Zebra stripes. This is not a piece for those that prefer muted tones 😆.
Oh what fun I had making this guy.
He is now for sale. Hit me up in the DMs if you want forst dibs

I shoot all my pictures in my Shed. So I need the right light to capture my pieces perfectly, sometimes my shed lighting is best, some times good ol' natural light is needed to make things shine. I try not to use AI to stage my photos (as much as possible) I know its the way if the future, but I'm holding on to old methods still. Call me old school 🤣

If you have a good long term memory, you may recall me posting this piece back in October last year. Before I went off-line!
Well I actually finished this piece in November but never posted it. It then sat in my shed for 2 months. I hadn't posted it on Marketplace yet, because classic me, would pick tiny faults with it, that I wanted to fix before I sold it.
For Christmas our kids got a Playstation and for the first month it sat awkwardly on a side table. We kept saying we needed a small cupboard to house it, the games and controllers. I kept looking on Marketplace for something I liked. Then one day I went out in the shed and the solution was there the whole time right in front of me. It fits perfect in our home, the colour scheme matches my dining chairs and Hallstand in the dining area. Its like I subconsciously created this piece for myself 🤣🤣🤣

Well hello there!
Its been well over 6 months since my last post.
I'm not sure this post will even reach people, given my algorithm will be completely gone.
But I'll post anyway! So where have I been.....
I have been made permanent at my job at the school and now work 5 days a week.
I am loving it, but sadly it has meant I don't have alot of spare time these days to do much in the Shed.
But when Tracey from contacted me to ask if I could bring these drawers back to life, I couldn't say no. I miss furniture alot and Tracey has purchased from me before. I have to look after my customers. Especially those that want to buy again from me.
She wasn't fussed that it might take me a long time, given my hectic life these days. But I managed to get it done in under 2 months. It was no easy-feat. Tracey had removed most of the white paint that had once covered it. But it was still in every nook and cranny. Even getting it off the legs was tricky.
The drawers had warped runners, some of the drawers had swelled over the years and needed sanding, planing, and sawing the backs down, to help them sit flush again, and then lots and lots of cleaning and sanding before I could get started.
I am really happy with how it turned out.
Thank you for trusting me with it Tracey. I hope you love it too.
