When one has too many different charms to realistically make a set, one makes mystery bags! I have small ring, large ring and lobster claw fruit salad mystery markers. There are 18 different charms (though I may have a few more on order darn it why did they add mango and Star fruit....), and each mystery bag will have 6 different charms!
From your basics like apples and pears, to your weird like mangosteen and durian, there are many different types you can get! Think you can collect them all?

Have you been missing my Entanglement base? I am SO in love with the replacement, I have for it, Byte! It's the same 4 ply construction, with an 80/20 blend of US grown superwash merino and cashstyle nylon--cashstyle just means brushed, so it adds softness and loft to the yarn while retaining its most important property, adding longevity and durability to your finished projects!

I find that Byte has more bounce and more stretch than Entanglement had, making it a much better choice for projects like socks--it lends itself beautifully to a bouncy ribbing and makes for a nice squishy sole.

I just finished an entire sweater project with this yarn and it was an absolute joy. Even seaming didn't cause the yarn to fray or fuzz.

So, if you're looking for a new yarn base to try, why not give this one a shot? It's got 447 yds per 100g skein, so plenty for that sock project in just a single skein!

Pattern is Fruit Stripe Gum
Yarn is Spontaneous Mutation in Byte (tidal locked) with a true teal mini for cuffs/heels/toes

Today's agenda is finish winding Oenology and Fermentation, and start winding the Turing I finished dyeing last week.
Any requests for what I should put in the dye pots next?

From Wikipedia: Hydra is the largest of the 88 modern constellations, measuring 1303 square degrees, and also the longest at over 100 degrees. One myth associates it with a water snake that a crow served Apollo in a cup when it was sent to fetch water. Apollo saw through the fraud and angrily cast the crow, cup and snake into the sky.

Hydra is one of my favorite colorways. I've made several things with this colorway, including a Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend shawl and a sock head hat, pictures here.
