RWK designs is a product design studio based out of Omaha, Nebraska. I center my focus on the creative exploration of materials discarded by others.
I have a Bachelors degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and recently received a Masters from the same university. While I love the field of architecture, there is something about the immediacy of furniture design that I cannot resist. I love to turn used and abandoned materials into something beautiful. I can only hope that the satisfaction I find from giving used materials new life will be passed on to those who own my products.

Latest addition to the Kanne household. The trinity tables. A pair of end tables for our living room, each made with a church pew end piece for the top, three walnut legs turned on the lathe, and maple wedges. Finished with tung oil.
FINALLY got back to the shop last night. Almost forgot what sawdust smells like.

Bought four of what you see on the left, have made two of what you see on the right. Two still available! Made from chairs bought at goodwill, and cedar from my parents old hail damaged deck.
