SUNDAY RESET the day before school officially starts. šŸŽ

I haven’t had a real Sunday routine since summer started, and while I cherish every beach day, pool day, late night and slow morning… I was starting to feel a little claustrophobic in my own home. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

The one thing I know about myself: when my space feels chaotic, my brain feels chaotic. So today was all about getting the house back in order, resetting for the week, and feeling slightly more prepared for the school-year madness ahead.

Summer, I love you. But dare I say I’m ready for a routine again?šŸ¤

New bathroom reveal! We transformed our stuck-in-the-90s primary bath into an everyday OASIS ✨

Our house was built in 1996 so certain areas are starting to show their age (bathrooms especially. I wasn’t planning on doing the primary bath first, but once the sink stopped working and the window needed to be replaced, it got bumped up the list.

After obsessing over every detail I’m SO happy with how things turned out — will share all my favorite features and how I’m organizing things soon! Can you see the one thing we kept from the original bathroom?

A dishwasher pod isn’t just for your dishwasher.
One of our favorite cleaning hacks? Fill your sink with warm water, drop in a dishwasher pod, and let your
shoes soak. After a quick scrub, they’ll look refreshed and ready to wear again. Works amazing on kids
crocs, sandals and kanes!
Have you tried this one yet?

Visual clutter isn’t always the obvious stuff.
Sometimes it’s the little details that make a space feel busier than it really is.
Four easy examples to look out for today:
1. Exposed plugs and outlets - outlets can be a real eye sore, especially somewhere prominent like a
backsplash. Cover them with art or an object and your space instantly feels more elevated.
2. Produce stickers - fruit is beautiful displayed in a bowl, but an ugly white sticker really kills the vibe.
Peel them and see how much different your display feels.
3. Product labels - manufacturing stickers on things like lights and furniture make them feel so much less
high end.
4. Appliance tags - these tags are something we always cut off for our clients, They are bulky and ugly,
but they often make cord storage harder to manage.
These tiny changes take just a second, but together they create a calmer look throughout your home. What else did we leave out? Comment below!
