September 11, 2001 is a day that will forever live in our hearts.
Across the world, people watched, prayed, cried and mourned. But here in New York, it was more than something we watched unfold on television. It was happening in our own backyard. Our families, friends, neighbors and communities were directly affected, and for so many, the loss of that day is still deeply personal.
Today we remember the innocent lives taken far too soon. We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs and other first responders who ran toward danger when everyone else was trying to escape. We remember the service members who answered the call in the days and years that followed, and we hold close the families who have carried the weight of September 11 ever since.
We remember the fear and heartbreak, but we also remember how people came together — as neighbors, as Americans and as human beings.
Twenty-five years later, we still remember their names, their courage, their sacrifice and the lives that were forever changed.
From New York to every corner of the world that mourned with us that day...

🌿 When Tonino gets an idea… he runs with it! 🍕🇮🇹
Today’s inspiration started right in the garden. Fresh basil was picked, chopped, and worked directly into the pizza dough. 🌱
The result? A beautifully fragrant fresh basil dough that became Margherita pizza and golden garlic knots.
From the garden… to the dough… to the brick oven. 🔥🍕
Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ones—fresh ingredients, a little creativity, and a whole lot of Italian tradition.
Buon Ferragosto from Tonino’s Brick Oven Pizza! 🇮🇹❤️
