Camino Woodshop

A moment for the mugs that hold the caffeine that fuels the woodshop.

For 11 years of teaching, I hurriedly drank coffee out of a thermos every morning. So now there is just something so satisfying about enjoying those first sips out of a real mug I can wrap my hands around, which is why I consistently carry a mug into the shop and risk mixing wood shavings + coffee.

Our favorite mugs are handcrafted by some stellar local small business owners, which adds a little something extra to that coffee mug magic ✨☕️✨

It’s been the summer of state travel cribbage boards over here at Camino! And it’s so special knowing a little piece of home is making its camino around the country + world as each of these boards goes on their next adventure.

Vermont -> Washington -> Michigan -> Maine -> New York -> Arizona -> Minnesota -> Wisconsin -> plus a bonus custom board of Washington Island, WI 🥰

What states should we add next?!

And just like that it’s the end of July. We’ve had some of our favorites on the workbench this month + we love thinking of the ways these top three will be used in their new homes:

✨bud vases full of fresh garden blooms
✨spatulas whipping up a batch of Saturday morning breakfast
✨cribbage boards traveling along on summer adventures
