We had a vision of creating a timeless Kentucky-inspired home that reflects a love of horses, the countryside, and classic design. 🐴🌳

So we took this plain blue dining room and completely transformed it into an equestrian-inspired space guests will enjoy for years to come.

With picture frame molding, a chair rail, and this gorgeous horse pasture wallpaper from The Painted Paper, the room finally feels like the vision we had in mind.

Every cut, every piece of trim, and every DIY project was made a little easier thanks to our Metabo & Makita Tools USA. There’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing your own ideas to life with your own hands.

Watch me transform this old thrifted dresser that needed some love into one inspired by Pottery Barn, let’s go! 🤎

I started out by scraping off all of the old cracked wooden detailing and sanded off all of the old peeling paint with my sander.

There were a few spots I had to fill in with wood filler and then here are the other supplies I used:

Bullseye 1-2-3 All Purpose Water Based Primer tinted in the color Turbo Taupe

Pickled Oak Gel Stain

Aged Oak Gel Stain

Polycrylic Top Coat in Clear Satin
