Sometimes older furniture just needs a little refresh. These hand-me-down wooden chairs got a second life after my wife updated the cushion design, added extra padding, and then it was my turn to refurbish the structure. A little effort goes a long way.

In our household we bond over wood projects and this one was our holiday break project. A custom built birch wood shelving piece stained walnut to complete this little nook. It’s always nice to have family in the shop and have these pieces have personal meaning behind them.
