Part clock. Part sculpture. Definitely not subtle.

Estate find of the YEAR?! 👀📚

I found these two incredible Godey’s Lady’s Book volumes from 1884, and I don’t think I was prepared for just how amazing the pages inside would be. Fashion illustrations, sewing and embroidery patterns, old advertisements, articles… it’s basically a little time capsule of what women were reading, wearing, and making 142 years ago. 😍

This is exactly why I love estate sales, sometimes you pick something up thinking it’s interesting, and then you open it and realize you’re holding a little piece of history.

I’ve been waiting MONTHS for Piddler on the Loose booth at Country Antiques and Curiosities to open… and it’s finally here 👀🙌

Of course I had to go check it out as soon as I could! There’s just something so fun about walking into a brand-new antique booth for the first time—you have no idea what you’re going to find, what’s been tucked away waiting for the right person, or what might end up coming home with you. 🤎

One of my favorite things about antique shopping as a reseller is that you truly never know what you’re going to find. 👀

Every shop is different, every booth has its own personality, and sometimes you come across one where you immediately think, “Yep… I’d definitely be friends with this person.” 😂 Kindred spirits just based on the things they collect.

That’s the fun of it for me, finding something unusual, learning a little about it, and giving it a chance to live another life in someone else’s home.

It looks like a tiny haunted house… but can you guess what it really is? 👀

With its little glass windows, hinged door, and ornate metalwork, this unusual piece was actually made to hold and display candlelight. I love finding old home decor like this because even the smallest pieces were once designed with so much detail and purpose.
