HÅG’s story starts in 1943, in a small Oslo workshop building chairs for schools and kitchens.

By the late 1960s the business had nearly collapsed. A doctor‘s discovery about his own back pain changed the direction entirely, and set HÅG on the idea that sitting still was never the healthy option.

That idea still shapes every chair the brand makes today.

This is the first in a series telling the story of each brand in the Flokk family.
