The Rotaract Club Excellence Award (which replaced the older Rotary Citation for Rotaract) is an official global recognition from Rotary International. To qualify, clubs must:

• Remain in good standing with Rotary International
• Set and track goals through Rotary Club Central
• Accomplish at least 50% of their listed strategic goals by June 30
• Properly update and report all completed goals in the system before the deadline

As per 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 2026-01, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 21, 2026, issued by the Office of the District Rotaract Chairperson (DRC), duly noted by the District Governor (DG), and in accordance with the rules on succession provided under the District Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 3870 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐏 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. This temporary assumption was made to give time to DRR Ralph P. Jordan to take the necessary medical leave and ensure his fast recovery as advised by his attending physician.

By virtue of this Memorandum, DSI Den Perry D. Decretales shall assume the duties and responsibilities of the District Rotaract Representative. We ask everyone for their full cooperation and support during this period, as we also extend our sincere wishes for the speedy recovery and well-being of our DRR.

NINOY AQUINO DAY | August 21

Today, we remember Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and the role his life and death played in a defining period of Philippine history.

On August 21, 1983, Aquino was assassinated upon returning to the Philippines after years in exile. His death sparked widespread public outrage and became one of the events that strengthened the movement for democratic change, eventually leading to the 1986 People Power Revolution.

More than four decades later, Ninoy Aquino Day gives us an opportunity to look back at this chapter of our history and reflect on the responsibilities that come with the freedoms we have today. It is also a reminder that democracy is shaped not only by those whose names appear in history books, but by ordinary Filipinos who choose to participate, speak up, and care about the future of their communities.

As Rotaractors, may we continue to take part in building communities where service, responsibility, and concern for others remain at the heart of what we do.
