𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆

Liceo De Cagayan University - The School of Business, Management and Accountancy (SBMA) Junior Marketing Association (JMA) officially launched its General Assembly for the school calendar 2026 – 2027 academic year held on August 12, 2026, at the Liceo Civic Center. Running from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the event gathered student marketers for an afternoon dedicated to organizational direction, teamwork and active engagement.

More than an opening event, the assembly set a strategic tone as the constituents of the Marketista Insiders gathered to look into the JMA organization’s roadmap for the upcoming year. The program formally commenced with the preliminaries, followed by the opening remarks delivered by the organization’s president. The students were then engaged through an interactive interview segment, giving the organization an opportunity to hear their perspectives and aspirations. This was followed by the presentation of the JMA Calendar of Activities—outlining the organization’s planned initiatives for the year. The atmosphere then shifted as members participated in interactive games designed to break the ice and build camaraderie across different year levels.

The program continued with the recognition of the outgoing officers through the awarding of certificates for their service and dedication to the organization. This was followed by the introduction of the newly elected officers and their solemn oathtaking ceremony, formally marking the transition of leadership. The celebration continued with a raffle featuring five kilos of rice, followed by an open forum where students and members were given the opportunity to raise concerns, share insights and engage with the organization’s leadership.

The event concluded with the closing remarks, before culminating in a community dance that brought the Marketistas together in a spirited celebration of unity, camaraderie and a new beginning.

Beyond academic growth, the speaker emphasized the shifting demands faced by modern Marketistas, highlighting the importance of being aware, prepared and responsive to real-world opportunities in the marketing industry. With a fresh chapter unfolding and a calendar packed with high-impact initiatives and industry engagement, JMA stands ready to empower its members to lead, innovate and make their mark in the marketing world.

Survey Highlights:

🎉 67.4% voted YES to having an Acquaintance Party.

💦 Songkran (Water Gun Festival) emerged as the top theme with 356 votes (65.8%).

📍Seven Seas Water Park & Resort was the overwhelming favorite venue with 506 votes (93.5%).

Your voice matters, and these results will serve as a guide in planning an unforgettable experience for the College of Business Management and Accountancy community.
