because she was going to die, and she was given 3 months to live, tops! When my wife and I were told this, we decided to sell everything we had: car, furniture, Wedding Gifts, and clothes, etc.... We said goodbye to our friends, and left! When we arrived, her mother was in dire need of care and Jadine and I decided to work sometimes day and night, to try to bring her mother back to health! We cooked real food meals, and incorporated the latest Cancer fighting Vitamins. We came with the strength that we could beat this if we pray enough! Soon after our arrival my wife's brother came from Japan, and another one from Spain to see their mother for the last time! This was the first time in 15 years that the whole family was reunited, and at that very moment her mother got better or at least it seemed that way, she was out from her bed and was not taking any of the medication that was making her so sick. She was cooking her favorite Peruvian dishes, sewing, and was even able to get out of the house! "See Photos below"

We spent Birthdays, and Christmas, and rang in the New Year! After New Years Jadine's brothers had to go back home and to their respective jobs, they kissed their mother goodbye knowing that they might not ever see her again! Through out the next few months the Doctors where quite impressed with her recovery and decided that maybe Chemo could help her. They started her first treatment in February, then another in March, and another in April. The first two treatments seemed to help and she was showing no signs of weakness and was feeling quite good, but as time went by, the treatments started to make her very sick, and also in a lot of pain! She started to take different types of medicine (for the pain) in small dosages, but as the pain grew, so did the dosages, and types of pain relievers! By April, she was taking Oxy Condone, and Drip Morphine and was still in pain. Those days she mostly spent in bed throwing up, and not being able to eat; nor go to the bathroom! Her blood pressure would go up and down erratically, as well as high-fevers! On May 7th she was taken by ambulance to the Hospital because of very low-blood pressure, and high-fever, at 2:00 in the afternoon. The family rode along in the ambulance and we were with her till we were told we had to leave (about 11:00 at night). Her condition was stable and her fever had gone down! We all said our goodbyes and "we would see you in the morning!" At 2 am the phone rang and we where told to come to the Hospital right away, "Something had happen", they said. When we arrived, Jadine's Mom had a respiratory trauma caused by her low-blood pressure and died suddenly, they tried to resuscitate but to no avail! My mother in-law lived her last months of her life with her family around her, and got that one wish she had for a long time: to have her whole family together again! Now with my mother in-law gone, and the bills piling up, I need to get a job, and since my Visa had expired, I can't even work here anymore. And on top of that, every day that I spend here, cost me $1.00 which may not seem like a lot to you, but I have out stayed my Visa by 9 months! Peru is a nice place to visit, lots of beautiful things to see, great food, people, and traditions; but the pay is very low, like $10.00 a day, and the typical work day is 12 hrs, six days a week! So today, I am asking you for a donation to help me to get home, so I can work and help my wife, and my newly adopted daughter, Yezid, get home too.
