A backyard upgrade just in time for spring 🌸🌼 Transforming a retired outdoor space into an elegant entrance. My client loves home grown vegetables, so I incorporated some gorgeous macrocarpa sleepers to feature the new planter boxes. Thank you @timberline_contracting_ltd for the premium product! For the stair case base I used Mangatangi Pebble, a great contrast of golds and browns to tie the area together. I design a lot of my work in an ‘old school’ way… pen to paper! It was amazing to see my drawing come to life.

30m Retaining Wall

What a beaut! This structure was created to widen the access around the side of this property. Now that the wall is in place, we can start paving and adding garden trims around this area to tie everything together 🌺

Turning a House into a Home

My first offical ‘planting’ job is complete! Absolutely stoked with how it has turned out. Featuring native olive trees, a podocarpus macrophyllus hedge on the outskirts, and a westringia grey box trim around the driveway.

Grass is also starting to grow through the new parking space area as well, so I am very excited to come back here in a few months to see how everything is going! 🌳🌸

Cobble Driveway & Privacy Screen

Here are some before and after photos from a project in Pukekohe. What a difference it has made! An unused grass space was turned into an open area for use of more parking and a cleaner look. The client wanted a small timber screen in front of the entrance window, but didn’t want any obstruction from the sunlight. This is just to keep some privacy with passing traffic. Happy with the final product and had a lot of fun bringing someone’s vision to life! 🌿🧱

Privacy Fence

A cool idea if you need a little more privacy in your out door space. No matter how big or small!
My client wanted their patio slightly more private being so close to neighbours. This was a small, but effective job!

Front Yard Revamp

This was a pretty un-usable and wasted space to begin with! After a vision and a plan was discussed, we stuck right into working on bringing it to life.

The main points of focus were to get a leveled area for a trampoline to be seated on (kids request), and a safer access to the storage shed. We even added in a new stair case to merge the front and back yards together, which looks amazing!

Extremely happy with how this project turned out so far. A few extra pieces still need to be added, but I just wanted to share the front yard improvements!

Garden Boxes

Don’t know what to do with an empty space?.. Garden or planter boxes are a perfect idea! Being able to produce your own fruit & vegetables is a skill we would all love to have 🥕🥦🍋 I cannot wait to see what these look like after a season of growing!
