"I've signed up as a Heart Racer (in conjunction with the AMI Round the Bays Feb 2013) to raise moolah for the Heart Foundation - please sponser me so we can help the Heart Foundation with its awesome & vital research! !! :)

Some of you will know that this great foundation is very close to my heart - I had an ICD (look it up!!)/pacemaker inserted just over 3.5 years ago to basically keep me alive....my heart had slowed almost to a stop whilst out shopping (on Mother's Day of all days - sorry Mum!!), I collapsed at the No.1 Shoe Warehouse!! Whilst in hospital, my heart started racing so fast, I flatlined & they had to get the paddles out...hence this awesome piece of technology - it's my backup and I have it for life! :)
