MOON is a houseboy who drinks his bossâs wine and then adds water to cover it up. His boss became suspicious and decided to buy Pastis (a French drink that changes colour if water is added).
As usual, MOON drank the Pastis and topped it up with water. Unfortunately for him, the drink changed colour. When the boss came home and noticed the colour change, he told his wife about it.
MOON knew he was in trouble, so he decided to stay in the kitchen.
The boss shouted, âMOON!!!â
MOOM answered, âYes, sir!â
Boss: âWho drank the Pastis?â
MOON didnât respond.
The boss asked againâstill no answer. Then he went to the kitchen to confront him.
âAre you insane or what? When I called you, you said âYes, sir,â but when I asked you a question, you didnât answer!â
MOON replied, âHmm, Oga, when youâre in the kitchen, you donât hear anything except your name.â
âLetâs try it,â the boss said. âGo to the bar and stand beside madam while I stay in the kitchen. Then call me and ask me any question.â
MOON shouted, âBoss!â
Boss answered, âYes!â
MOON asked, âWho goes into the maidâs bedroom when madam isnât around?â
The boss didnât answer.
MOON asked again. The boss kept quiet.
The boss then came out of the kitchen shouting, âWonders shall never end! MOON, itâs trueâwhen one is in the kitchen, one doesnât hear anything except oneâs name!â
The wife interrupted, âThatâs not true. Itâs a lie!â
Without arguing, MOON asked if she would like to enter the kitchen to be tested, and she agreed.
MOON called, âMadam!â
Madam answered, âYes!â
MOON asked, âWho is Juniorâs biological fatherâme or the boss?â
Madam rushed out of the kitchen saying, âThis kitchen needs to be checked! I canât hear anything!â đđ

Listen closely, brothers. Your greatest responsibility when getting married is to choose the right woman who will make a sensible mother to your children. That is what you owe them, and you must never fail them on that.
Most men, when it comes to deciding whom to marry, are often confused between choosing a woman with great morals and character and one with a pretty face, big melons, and a big behind. Many men, driven by sexual appeal, go for aesthetics and looks, forgetting that when hunger strikes, a big behind cannot be served and eaten.
Any observant man must already know that a large portion of the current generation of women lack the basic values needed to sustain a marriage. Some of them keep long fake nails and claim they cannot do laundry, clean dishes, tidy the house, or cook because their nails are too precious to handle dirt.
The outcome is that the house begins to stink with unwashed dishes, and the home starts looking disorganised, with sufurias on the floor, a spoon on top of the television, and even a shoe in the fridge. That kind of disorder is both shocking and shameful.
If you choose based on looks, be prepared to pay the price in the form of constant drama. You may struggle alongside your children, and even the physical attraction you once prioritised may no longer be available to you over time. A sensible man understands that choices have consequences. Strong character endures, but a pretty face will wrinkle, and a voluptuous body will change under the pressure of age.
The modern woman often spends a lot of time curating a false image on social media, gossiping, and seeking attention from other men who inflate her ego and make her feel superior to her husband. As a man, you should not tolerate such behaviour. Act as soon as you notice negative changes in character, because behaviour is often influenced by the company she keeps and the environment she is in.
Consequently, it becomes difficult for a man to fully know a womanâs true character before marriage. Some may present themselves as well-mannered just to secure marriage, only for their true nature to emerge later.
Whatever the case, before you decide to marry, assess carefully so that you do not end up with the wrong partner as a wife and a mother to your children. A lifetime is too long to spend with the wrong person. Make your choices wisely.
