We are truly greatful for all who participated in the humanity walk in Nyeri. It was a great success! Over 300 schools participated bringing the number of participants slightly above 6000. Nyeri town was covered in Red and the presence of the Red Cross was felt in the county. We are most thankful to our volunteers, county government of Nyeri, school clubs and university chapters, club patrons, deejayKV of happy times, mcs Syoks and Edu and all who took part to make the event a success. We are where we are because of you..
KRCS Nyeri branch invites you all for the annual humanity walk on Saturday 16th May 2015 at Ruringu Stadium from 9.00am.
The chief guest will be Nyeri County Governor HE Nderitu Gachagua. Join us and bring a friend.

KRCS Nyeri branch will be hosting a delegation of Norwegian Red Cross in Nyeri. They have been our partners since 2008 and have supported the branch in various ways like capacity building trainings, greenhouses, a land cruiser and funding of our youth programs. This year in August, the team will conduct a water rescue training to the youth of Nyeri. Last year they trained some volunteers on Mt. Rescue and first aid. We are happy for their visit and their partnership. We invite all youth members tomorrow for a meeting with our partners starting at 9.00am.
