✨ Clay walls, obsidian green and chrome shape the character of Casa Barro by 02A Studio, a Roman apartment built through contrasts: tactile and polished, intimate and theatrical, grounded and futuristic.

The renovation turns the home into a sequence of sculptural spaces, defined by curved volumes, reflective surfaces and unexpected material contrasts. At its center, the bedroom becomes an architectural object in its own right, while a mirrored element conceals the kitchen and expands the perception of space.

Raw concrete, exposed structure and a sunken conversation pit shape the identity of STÜCK, a new East London club designed by playbody for KLUB VERBOTEN.

Set within a former 1960s industrial building, the project embraces its Brutalist character while introducing a new layer of tactile materials and bespoke interventions. Concrete and steel meet latex surfaces and custom furniture, including a 12-metre-long steel bench that becomes part of the architecture itself.

At the heart of the space, a conversation pit inspired by Roman baths shifts the focus away from the conventional dance floor, creating a place for bodies to gather, sit and interact.

Rather than treating interiors as a backdrop, playbody designs STÜCK as a sequence of spatial experiences, where material, scale and proximity shape the way the club is inhabited.

✨ A multifunctional blue box becomes the spatial heart of this compact Berlin attic.

Designed by Ester Bruzkus Architekten, the 75-square-metre apartment in Prenzlauer Berg replaces conventional walls with a deep-blue timber core that conceals storage, services and private functions, while allowing light and air to move freely through the home.

A sky-blue staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, mirrored surfaces visually expand the interiors, and a custom butter-yellow sofa introduces a playful contrast to the saturated joinery.

Designed by Zaven for S-CAB, Koala expands into a coherent family of seating, bringing together indoor armchairs, new bar stools and an outdoor version. This defining gesture remains consistent across the collection. Indoors, Koala and Koala Open offer two distinct interpretations, from a softer upholstered shell to a more graphic tubular backrest. The new stools extend the same language to counters and hospitality settings.

Outdoors, nautical rope is woven around the tubular backrest, adapting comfort to open-air spaces while preserving the colour, graphic character and recognisable identity of the original design.
