We’re delighted that Butler & Dunne / Two Fussy Blokes Ireland are sponsoring Leicester Celtic U10.2 Sunday team again this season. ⚽
We absolutely loved being involved last year.
One thing that really surprised me was the amount of people who saw the jerseys, training gear or team photos and asked:
“What’s Two Fussy Blokes?”
That’s exactly why local sports sponsorship works.
These kids are basically little walking billboards 😂 — training a few nights a week, playing matches every weekend, travelling around Dublin and wearing their club gear everywhere.
For a relatively small investment, your business can have its logo across jerseys, training gear and teamwear for a two-year sponsorship.
And with around 70 teams at Leicester Celtic, there are plenty more teams looking for businesses to come on board.
If you own a business — particularly around South Dublin — it’s a brilliant way to get your name and brand out into the local community while also putting something back into grassroots football.
You’re helping kids play football, helping the club, supporting your local community and getting genuine advertising at the same time.

Even as professional painters, we still sometimes look at Zinsser GARDZ and Peel Stop and wonder which one is best for a particular job. They overlap in a few areas, but they’re designed for two very different problems.
The easiest way to remember it 👇
🟣 GARDZ = the surface itself is the problem
Best for porous or damaged interior surfaces, stripped walls with paste residue, torn plasterboard paper, filler, skim coats and bare plaster.
🟢 PEEL STOP = the existing paint is the problem
Best for peeling, flaking, lifting, blistering, cracking or chalky old paint.
The biggest difference:
🏠 GARDZ — interior only
🏠🌧️ Peel Stop — interior and exterior
So if it’s outside, Peel Stop is the only suitable option of the two.
Neither product replaces proper preparation, blocks stains or smells, or fixes active damp. Scrape, sand and clean everything properly first.

Handy one for painters trying to plan outside work around the weather.
I’ve made three ready-to-use ChatGPT prompts:
🔵 Month-long outlook — for roughly planning your diary
🟡 Seven-day forecast — for organising the coming week
🔴 Two-day forecast — for the final go/no-go decision
All you have to do is:
1️⃣ Swipe across and screen-grab the prompt you want
2️⃣ Upload the screenshot into ChatGPT
3️⃣ Tell it the location of the job
Be as specific as possible. Don’t just write “Dublin,” because the weather can be completely different from one side of Dublin to another.
For my own forecast, I use:
“Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland.”
I’m between D12 and Stillorgan , so Rathfarnham gives me a decent centre point. Use the town, suburb or area closest to where you’ll actually be painting for the most useful forecast.
ChatGPT will read the prompt, check the latest weather information and explain it from an exterior painter’s point of view.
The month-long forecast is only a general outlook. As the job gets closer, check the seven-day forecast and then use the two-day forecast before making your final decision.
You can also ask ChatGPT to update you automatically every week. Once it gives you the forecast, say:
“Repeat this seven-day exterior-painting weather forecast for Rathfarnham every Friday morning and notify me when it’s ready.”
If Scheduled Tasks are available on your ChatGPT account, it can then give you a fresh forecast every week.
Always check Met Éireann and the live rain radar before opening the tin—but this is a handy way of gathering everything together.
