This lounge floor was brought back to life by carefully sanding the original pine floorboards completely by hand🪵

The process included:

Full sanding of the floorboards ✔️

Application of a water-based stain in the areas that needed extra attention ✔️

Sanding between coats to achieve a smooth, professional finish ✔️

Application of a satin light oak Diamond Hard floor varnish for long-lasting protection and a beautiful natural look🪵

This one included painting a lounge with 3 walls and a feature wall around the media unit, plus a full dining room refresh.

I also went over a few areas where the customer had painted themselves, straightening everything up for a clean, professional finish.

To finish it off, I repainted all the door frames and skirting boards in fresh white, giving the whole space a crisp, tidy look.

The reclaimed timber floorboards were a real feature of this room, but years of use had left them looking tired, uneven and worn.

Carried out thorough preparation work, including securing loose boards and addressing any imperfections before sanding.

Sanded the entire floor using a professional dustless sanding system, keeping disruption and airborne dust to a minimum.

Removed old finishes, surface damage, scratches and marks to reveal the beautiful natural grain beneath.

Carefully worked through multiple sanding grades to achieve a smooth, even finish while retaining the character of the reclaimed timber.

Applied a premium-quality varnish to enhance the colour and texture of the wood, providing a hard-wearing, durable finish that will protect the floor for years to come.

The restored floorboards have completely transformed the space, bringing warmth, character and a stunning natural feature back to the heart of this Victorian home.

This room was fully prepared before decorating, including repairing and filling old ceiling cracks, sanding surfaces, and getting everything ready for a new office 💻

The ceiling and walls were finished in Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath mix with the woodwork completed in a durable acrylic satin finish ✔️

Skirting boards were fully undercoated to give a clean, sharp final result ✔️

This property was fully cleaned and painted in Sandtex white over the existing pebbledash, giving the outside a much brighter, fresher look.

Before painting, all moss was removed and the surfaces were properly cleaned and prepared to ensure a long-lasting finish ✔️

I also removed and replaced damaged window mastic, fully re-sealing around the windows to help protect the property from weather and moisture✔️
