How has this not been snapped up yet? I am honestly so surprised - the last one I had in had SO much interest…

Between admissions season in my College job and the furniture grind, I am OFFICIALLY out of gas. Who’s with me? 🥱
It’s giving autumn already and I am SO here for it 🍂 the second September hits I’m straight into cosy mode — jumpers out, candles on, and looking round my own house thinking “right, what needs a refresh before the cold sets in.”
If you’ve got a piece sat there that’s still stuck in summer (or honestly, stuck in about 2015 😅) — now’s the perfect time to sort it. A tired old sideboard or a dated pine unit can go from “meh” to properly snug with the right paint and a bit of love.
Commissions are open for September and I’d love to help you get your space feeling warm and welcoming before the nights properly draw in 🫶

I’m not sure small business owners are supposed to say this outloud 👀
But I don’t need to be BIG I just want to be good.
The real goal has always been simple: do what I love, earn an honest living, and still be present for my life and family.
As a one-person show, I rely heavily on social media doing its thing—and on all of you helping it along! If buying isn’t in the budget right now, a quick share, save, or comment truly means the world and keeps the lights on.

Did you know? ⬇️
These are called monks benches as monks had limited space and used them as a multifunctional piece of furniture - a seat for prayer, the top folds down to make a table for meals, a work surface for study, and a chest to store clothes or books…and that’s your history lesson for today 😁

This solid monk’s bench came to me looking a bit tired (before in the comments) and honestly I couldn’t wait to get started. Flip top lid for storage, a proper lift-up seat, and those carved lion armrests?? Chef’s kiss.
Gave her a full refresh in this gorgeous soft sage green using Fusion Mineral Paint (the durability on this stuff is unreal, it’s built to actually last not just look pretty for five minutes), kept the seat top natural for a bit of contrast, and now she’s ready for someone’s hallway or porch to make an entrance in 🫶
Solid wood, proper craftsmanship, storage AND seating in one — this is the kind of piece that’ll outlive all of us, no flatpack nonsense here.
She’s up for grabs! Drop me a comment or DM if you want her in your home, or if you fancy your own piece given the same treatment, I take commissions too 👇
Thank you to each and everyone who supports my small business ❤️

This stunning solid oak sideboard has been lovingly hand-painted in a soft sage green, giving it a fresh, elegant, farmhouse-meets-French-country feel.
The natural oak base and scalloped trim have been left bare to show off the gorgeous grain — a lovely contrast against the muted green tones.
Perfect for a dining room, hallway, or living room — this piece brings character and charm to any home.
