“We’re hiring! Technical Office Engineer – Furniture
Location: Cairo, Egypt.
Join QAF Furniture and be part of a growing team specializing in high-quality furniture manufacturing. *Responsibilities*: • prepare technical and shop drawings. • create cutting lists and production documentation.
• prepare CNC files for production.
• ⁠coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
• ⁠review architectural drawings and convert them into production-ready drawings.
• ⁠ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
*Requirements*: • 1 to 3 years of experience in a furniture manufacturing or fit-out company.
• ⁠excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
• ⁠experience with Cut Optimization.
• ⁠ familiarity with SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.
• ⁠Strong knowledge of MDF, natural wood, veneer, laminate, HPL and furniture hardware.
• ⁠ability to prepare cutting lists and production drawings.
• ⁠strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• ⁠good communication and teamwork abilities.
