The details make the design.
From the gently shaped seat to the precise rhythm of the steel frame, every element of Studio Bar Stool is carefully considered to create a design that feels both light and characterful.

“We never wait for inspiration. If you want to make a soup, we think it’s best to start chopping the onions.”
For Anderssen & Voll, the design process begins by simply getting started. From there, ideas take shape, forms are refined and a design gradually finds its own direction.
This process ultimately led to Spoke Sofa - a sofa designed from first principles, with an exposed wooden structure that plays a defining role in both its construction and character.

Designing for the experience.
At the new Joe & The Juice store at Copenhagen Airport, every detail plays a part in shaping the guest experience – from sounds and light to materials, customer flow and furniture.
As Store Design Lead Theresa Munkholm says, “Those details are what make a space feel alive.”
Among the TAKT pieces in the store, Forma Chair helps create an environment that gives Joe’s Juicers the best possible starting point to deliver a premium guest experience, while giving travellers a place to pause, recharge and take in the atmosphere before continuing their journey.

In Good Company with Theresa Munkholm.
As Store Design Lead at Joe & The Juice, Theresa Munkholm works with creating spaces that balance operational logic with a strong sense of identity – ensuring every store feels unmistakably “Joe” while responding to its local context.
At the new Joe & The Juice store at Copenhagen Airport, this approach comes to life in a high-capacity environment where people are constantly in transit. Among the TAKT pieces featured in the space, the Soft Lounge Chair offers a comfortable place to pause within the high-energy environment of the airport.

Simple, self-explaining, with a story to share.
For Depping & Jørgensen, the design process begins with experimentation. Mockups, prototypes and experiments are used to explore new ways of making design before arriving at simple solutions tailored to their situation and setting.
For Arc Chair, the meeting between the armrest and the legs became an essential part of the design – balancing their vision with the possibilities of industrial production.

A material with possibilities.
For Depping & Jørgensen, wood is a material that can renew itself, develop character through use and offer countless possibilities.
Their approach to materials is closely connected to their understanding of sustainability: designers can create furniture with a long-lasting lifetime, designed for disassembly and made from sustainable materials – but responsible production plays an equally important role.

Meet the designers: Depping & Jørgensen.
Based on the island of Bornholm, Danish designers Line Depping and Jakob Jørgensen have been collaborating since 2010, while maintaining separate practices in design, sculpture and art.
Their work is guided by functional possibilities and an interest in exploring materials and structures – resulting in simple, straightforward design solutions with a sculptural quality.
For TAKT, they have designed Arc Chair, Arc Dining Table and Curve Coat Rack.
