Dear Eddycrest Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we share some disappointing news—after much thought and consideration, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to withdraw from QuiltCon 2025 in Phoenix. This would have been our third time attending QuiltCon, and we were truly looking forward to reconnecting with so many of you in person. Unfortunately, due to increasing tension at the border and uncertainties surrounding trade regulations, we felt it was in the best interest of our small business to sit this one out.

The past few weeks have been especially tough. As a Canadian company that proudly handcrafts our furniture here at home, we typically avoid discussing politics—but the reality is that potential tariff changes have a direct impact on us, and ultimately, on you as well. We remain hopeful that our governments will work together to maintain the strong partnership of friendly neighbors that we have always known. Our goal is, and always will be, to continue providing you with the quality Eddycrest products you love without unnecessary barriers.

In the meantime, we have been working tirelessly to bring you a Ready-to-Ship inventory to help ease some of the uncertainty surrounding border tariffs. Products in our Ready-to-Ship section will be sent out the next business day after an order is placed, allowing you more transparency on any potential fees at the time of shipping. You’ll now see these updates reflected on our website—if a product is labeled Pre-Order, that means it is not currently in stock and will ship with our standard 4-week lead time. Please note that custom-height products will remain made-to-order and will follow our traditional production timeline of 4 weeks.

We are deeply sorry to miss QuiltCon and for any frustration caused by these ongoing trade uncertainties. However, we want to assure you that Eddycrest remains committed to our craftsmanship, innovative designs, and the unbeatable quality you have come to expect from us. We promise to navigate these challenges with transparency and with your best interests at heart.
