Installing a 3 piece crown to the ceiling transforms a kitchen. I (Louise) always love how much better a new kitchen looks once the crown is on. My job is filling all the pinner holes and filling/painting all the mitres so they look seamless. It's a very satisfying job.

Leveling a 120 lb farm sink and fitting a sink panel around the front. Count on 2 hours for a perfect fit. Make a cardboard template first by setting the front of the sink on a piece of cardboard cut to the size of the sink panel. Draw around the edge of the sink. Cut out template and make sure it fits around the sink. Trim cardboard as needed to get a perfect fit. Transfer template onto cabinet panel. Cut out carefully and then make adjustments as needed. Be patient and take your time as this will take several trips to the saw and some sanding as well.

I'm 6' tall so you get an idea how high these cabinets are. Lots of ladder work. All the glass cabinets are drilled for puck lights . The range hood in the middle will be custom made. The crown detail will finish to the ceiling.

The challenge of the day. Make this corner sink cabinet with winged doors smaller to fit the space. Thankful for tools! Track saw, jigsaw, biscuit joiner, iron, air nailer, rubber mallet, multi tool, drills, square... And a huge amount of brain power and drawings.... Voila.

Got a couple more rooms done today. A powder room vanity and floating shelves above the toilet, and the mudroom. Tomorrow we plan to start on the pantry.
