This elm side table came in with a thick, scratched finish that hid all the beauty of the wood. The customer wanted something more natural — right in our wheelhouse. We stripped everything back to bare elm, sanded it smooth, added a subtle stain, and finished it with a natural oil that brings out the grain without the plastic shine. The best part? It now matches the tone of her base and the rest of her home beautifully. A gentle transformation with a big impact.

This chair had a completely broken frame, so we stripped off every piece of fabric to keep it safe from glue, rebuilt the joints with a forest of dowels, and clamped everything tight until it was solid again.
