Today is my day.
The day of a girl who always looked ahead with hope in her eyes. The girl who was never satisfied with standing still, who always asked for one more step, one more lesson, one more degree, one more dream.
I pushed myself through endless days of studying, through the uncertainty of immigration, through the pain of leaving a life behind and building a new one from the ground up. I kept growing, rebuilding, and becoming stronger.
And today, as I look back, I realize something…
I never stopped to thank Samira.
I was always asking her to run faster, work harder, and carry more. I never told her how proud I was of her.
But today, I want to sit with her heart to heart and say:
We still have so much to build together, but before we continue, thank you.
Thank you for the courage.
Thank you for the sleepless nights.
Thank you for never giving up.
