Led by Atlantic Regional Director, Emilie Chiasson, and the Halifax Walk co-chairs, you can find updates on the event and other initiatives by Ovarian Cancer Canada's Atlantic chapter. Ovarian Cancer Canada is the only national charity dedicated solely to overcoming this disease. Five Canadian women are lost to the disease each day, and approximately 2,800 women will be diagnosed this year. Funds from the Walk help the organization to provide support, increase awareness and fund vital research.
