Are you looking to decorate a nursery in your retro or mid-century home? Want your baby to sleep under a most stylish piece of Australian history?
Made in Australia by Kempthorne in the early 1950s, this saucer light is an absolute joy to behold. All the best nursery rhymes from your childhood are represented.
This would be in my home if my teenage boys would allow it, but they won't, so that means someone else can love and treasure this unique piece.
The artwork is bright, fun, and truly unique, making this a standout decorative light fitting for a nursery, child’s room, playroom, or any interior with a retro or whimsical character.

I have been extraordinarily quiet of late for no reason so thought I’d slide back into your lives with some beautiful glassware that is fresh in.

Just have a look at this purple Japanese magnificence!
Designed by Lagardo Tackett for Schmid Kreglinger in Japan, this coffee set is so vibrant and fun.
The 4 demitasse cups are a gorgeous elongated shape, and the contrasting milk jug makes the set pop.

West German gorgeousness!!

If you love West German pottery then these 3 planter pots will be sure to thrill!
I’ve not seen a set of three in such good condition before, and the green glaze is so striking.
If I could keep plants alive I’d keep these, but my lack of green thumbs is your gain!

When I was a child growing up in the 1970s, there was a shop called Copperart and it was the epitome of retro styling. I always wanted something from Copperart, but being the child of Italian parents our design style was more about pictures of Jesus and the Virgin Mary, which in hindsight I am not mad about.
Now, I do not know if these two pressed copper art pieces were from that much revered store, but they are truly stunning.
Depicting a pair of angels, these works of art are in excellent condition and stand at around 35cm tall.

If you are looking for a new dinner set, do I have something for you!
Produced by Noritake in Japan in the late 1960s, this 6 personal setting is the “Blue Moon” pattern.
It really is so lovely and has never been used, and is in as new condition.
If I didn’t already have 4 dinner sets at home I’d be snaffling this one up myself!!

There is something so nostalgic about these Japanese drip glaze mugs.
It was almost mandatory for every home or office to have a set of these in their kitchen.
We have several sets in several styles available. Let me know which ones trigger the most memories for you!

I am a little bit in love!!
Produced by Figgio in the 1960s, this “tennis set” of tea cup on a cake plate shows the ‘Nori’ pattern of a husband and wife and their chickens!
I haven’t seen another example of this pattern on this style of plate before.
